Lykeiou Apartment

Lykeiou Apartment represents a contemporary approach to residential architecture, where geometric clarity, continuity of surfaces, and the careful integration of lighting create a cohesive, functional, and timeless living environment.

The architectural composition is defined by a fluid spatial arrangement and the subtle separation of individual functions. Vertical wooden structures act as independent architectural elements, organizing circulation and establishing visual connections without interrupting the continuity of the interior. The repetition of these vertical planes introduces rhythm and depth, reinforcing the residence’s distinct geometric identity.

The material palette is based on the contrast between luminous marble surfaces, natural wood, and restrained neutral tones. The large wooden dining table becomes a dominant horizontal element, while the kitchen is seamlessly integrated into the overall composition through clean surfaces, built-in appliances, and a minimalist marble countertop.

Particular emphasis is placed on architectural lighting as an integral part of the design. Linear light slots, concealed perimeter lighting, and discreet recessed fixtures highlight proportions, textures, and transitions between surfaces, creating different spatial atmospheres throughout the day.

In the private areas, wooden wall panels, integrated linear lighting, and monochromatic surfaces establish an atmosphere of calm and architectural consistency. The same design philosophy extends to the living areas, where low-profile furniture enhances the perception of openness and spatial continuity.

The residence is complemented by an outdoor terrace conceived as a natural extension of the interior. Wooden surfaces, linear planting, and shading systems define a protected outdoor setting while maintaining a visual connection with the surrounding urban landscape.

Lykeiou Apartment, architecturally designed by ISV Architects, with Project, Design & Construction Management by TSIGARAS DESIGN, highlights the importance of construction precision and the consistent translation of architectural intent into built reality. Attention to detailing, material junctions, and the seamless integration of technical systems contributes to a cohesive architectural result, where simplicity becomes a meaningful expression of contemporary design.
